What is the share of the software industry in the French economy?

The software industry has a considerable impact on the French economy, contributing € 113.1 billion to national GDP (including indirect and induced impacts), generating nearly 1.2 million jobs and € 2.6 billion of R & D investment. BSA | The Software Alliance, which has just published a report quantifying the share of the software industry in the French economy, estimates the contribution of the software sector to 5.3% of GDP.
